Advanced Cello Lessons

Advanced lessons are suitable for cellists with years of prior experience who are ready to take their abilities to the next level.  The focus includes increased technical abilities through the use of etudes and studies by David Popper and similar works, the study of advanced repertoire such as Concertos of Dvorak and Haydn and Sonatas by Schubert, Brahms, and chamber music performance or advanced orchestral repertoire.  For those interested in the pop side, music covered can include songs of 2Cellos, the Piano Guys, Lindsey Stirling, the Vitamin String Quartet and beginning experimentation with improvisation and jamming with a band. Concert performances or participation in community orchestras are strongly encouraged.
