Intermediate Cello Lessons

At this stage in the learning process, you are learning shifting and starting to play more complex repertoire.  You start to learn vibrato and some start really working on some detailed exercises that will push your playing forward.  At the end of the intermediate level, you will be able to read music in the three clefs of the cello: bass, tenor and treble.  Common repertoire includes Piatti Cello School Volume 2, Feuillard Daily Exercises, Bach Suite for Unaccompanied Cello No. 1, Suzuki Cello School Volumes 3-5, movie/TV music (such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Game of Thrones) medium difficulty arrangements of pop songs, (Sybil's collection moves from the 60's to now) Celtic music, beginning chamber, orchestral, band or church accompaniment music.
