Join Trio Shastra, Toronto's only guitar, violin and cello trio as they perform stunning little known works by Italian classical composer Mauro Giuliani and Canadian Toronto Symphony Orchestra affiliate composer Kevin Lau.  This performance will be Trio Shastra's second performance by invitation of Maestro Kerry Stratton and the Toronto Concert Orchestra.

Consisting of young virtuoso performers Rob MacDonald on guitar, Sharon Lee on violin and Sybil Shanahan on cello, Trio Shastra was formed in 2013.  They gave a world premiere of Kevin Lau's "Winds of Change" at Toronto's famed Music Garden summer concerts, and look forward to repeating this wonderful contemporary Canadian work at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church on June 7th.
